The new framework establishes an administered price equivalent to ₹105/kg of Compressed Biogas.

Capital assistance

Eligible greenfield projects can receive capital assistance of up to ₹2 crore per TPD of installed capacity, subject to scheme conditions.

The government says the scheme aims to increase domestic Compressed Biogas production nearly ten-fold and mobilise large-scale private investment.
